Officials respond to fatal crash in Hendricks County

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — One person is dead following a fatal crash Wednesday morning in Hendricks County.

It happened in the area of U.S. 40 and Miles Road around 7:45 a.m.

According to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, a red jeep entered US 40 northbound from Miles Road and was struck by an eastbound Chevy pickup.

The driver of the Jeep, 65-year-old James Andrews was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the pickup was taken to an Indianapolis hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
