Own a PS3? You may be owed money
(WISH) — If you own a Playstation 3, Sony might owe you $65.
Sony tried to sell the gaming console as a “computer” as well, going as far to say that you could install and run Linux on it.
While technically a possibility, turns out it was also a security issue, so PS3 buyers filed a class action lawsuit against the company and now the payout is beginning.
According to PC Magazine, the settlement applies to owners of the original release of the console, or the ‘phat’ PS3. The slim PS3 is not eligible.
