Temperatures hit the lower 90s during the noon hour. Just six degrees from record heat in Indy. The record high for the day is 98 degrees (1954). The hot and hazy sunshine is over much of central Indiana. However, a few pop up storms are possible through this evening. Storms have already developed over northern areas of the state. Some storms produced heavy rain and hail. Any storms that develop later today, could also produce heavy downpours. Otherwise, it will continue to remain hot and humid.
