Hopefully you enjoyed the Sunday sunshine because this week looks a bit waterlogged.
Grab the umbrella and the rain coat before you work your way out the door tomorrow. We’ll see a scattering of showers and a few rumbles of thunder early on, just enough to cause a few slow downs for the commute.
Showers and storms will continue to move through in the afternoon hours with most of us seeing about a quarter-inch of rain before things wrap up early Tuesday. Highs will top out in the upper 50s and low 60s for the first day of Spring.
We’ll stay mostly dry Tuesday with just a few isolated showers possible through the afternoon with highs in the low 50s. The downward temp trend will continue into Wednesday as skies clear out. We’ll see lows in the upper 20s Wednesday morning with highs only reaching the mid 40s!
Enjoy the lull in the rain by mid-week because we’ll have at least a chance for wet and stormy weather for each of the following 5 days. Rain returns late Thursday with slightly better rain chances Friday. ]
Temperatures will rebound into the mid 60s by Friday afternoon, just ahead of better storm chances through the first half of next weekend. Behind those strong storms, highs will drop back into the upper 40s next Sunday with lows in the mid to upper 30s to start next work week.
