Storms For Some This Afternoon

We’re tracking a couple of storms that have fired in northwestern portions of central Indiana.  Behind that, more rain tracking back to Illinois and Iowa.

There is a marginal risk for severe storms for the northern half of the state.  Wind and hail will be the primary severe weather threats.

Futurecast shows a few of the storms strolling through during the rest of the afternoon and evening, mainly staying in the northern third of the state.

Meanwhile, temperatures remain mild – ranging to the middle 70s to the north, to the upper 70s from Indy south.

Outside of the scattered storm chances – weather should be rather nice for this evening.  Mild with mostly cloudy skies.  Temperatures hold into the 70s through late night, and dip to the lower 60s overnight.
