Saturday showers, Sunday sunshine

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Another round of showers will move in for Saturday. But beautiful weather will settle in for the back half of the weekend.

Saturday:

An upper-level wave will again bring showers to the area Saturda. Some drier air in northern Indiana should limit any steady rainfall north of Indianapolis. For the rest of us, expect on and off light showers through much of the day, slowly winding down from west to east by this afternoon.

Highs will only top out in the lower 60s Saturday afternoon.

Saturday Night:

Dry air will finally settle in, leaving us dry with decreasing clouds overnight. Lows will fall to the middle 40s.

Sunday:

It is a beautiful day on tap with sunshine and much warmer temperatures. Highs will hit the lower to middle 70s.

8 day forecast:

It should be a quiet start to the work week, with sun and warm temps on Monday. Rain chances return Tuesday through Thursday, with our best chance for steady showers coming on Thursday. Cooler temperatures will return Friday and Saturday of next week.
