Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder are working their way through central Indiana this evening. With mostly cloudy skies tonight, expect another mild and muggy overnight with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
We’ll see an even better chance for showers and storms to close out the work week, especially through the mid-day hours hours tomorrow.
Our weekend won’t be a washout, but you’ll want to keep the umbrella handy if you have any outdoor plans with a scattering of wet weather Saturday and early Sunday before rain moves out altogether by Monday.
After an almost summer-like stretch of above average temps, we’ll start to trend closer to average by early next week with highs dropping from the mid to upper 70s this weekend back into the low to mid 60s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
We’ll stay dry Monday, but another storm system will slide our way by Tuesday with rain sticking around into the second half of next work week.
