Rain Moves Out, Cooler & Drier Air Moves In

We’re tracking another round of showers and storms for our Sunday.  By Monday, much cooler and less humid air settles in for much of the work week.


Cold front will swing through the state today – ahead of the front, showers and storms continue to move through central Indiana.StormTrack 8  Futurecast shows scattered showers and storms working through central Indiana this morning.  We should see the rain come to an end from northwest to southeast as we head into the afternoon hours.

Highs top out in the lower 80s this afternoon.


Gradual clearing, slightly cooler, and noticeably less muggy.  Lows fall to the lower 60s.


About as nice of a day as you will have in the middle of June.  Much drier air settling in will make for mostly sunny skies and much lower humidity.  Highs top out in the upper 70s.


Another great day on tap.  Sunny, warm, and not too humid.  Highs hit around 80° by the afternoon.

8 Day Forecast:

Should remain pretty quiet through much of the work week.  Active pattern sets up for the end of the work week, bringing isolated rain chances to the area as early as late Thursday, with more chances for showers and storms Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Temperatures and humidity will be on the rise as we head into the weekend as well.
