Hot & humid temperatures along with more storm chances headline the forecast over the next 8 days.
No major problems as we roll through the start of our weekend. Just a few decorative clouds dotting the afternoon sky. Temperatures will end up slightly below average, which is nice – but the real comfort will come with the dry air in place keeping the humidity down. Highs top out in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Partly cloudy and comfortable. Lows dip to the lower 60s.
Dry start to the day. A cold front swings through the area in the afternoon, sparking a few showers and storms. There is a marginal risk for severe storms when the front moves through. Hail and damaging winds are the primary threats for any storm that develops.
Highs top out in the middle 80s.
Quiet pattern continues into Monday. Expect partly cloudy conditions and highs in the middle 80s.
8 Day Forecast:
Heat dome gradually builds eastward, allowing for temperatures to rise to the upper 80s and lower 90s through the middle of the week. That being said, we’re still right on the edge of the heat, which means we sit in prime spot for multiple storm complex to roll over the area for the second half of the week, with daily rain chances starting Wednesday through the start of the weekend.
