It’s another quiet and cooler start this morning. Temperatures are hovering in the lower to middle 60s.
We’re tracking a pocket of storms in northern Illinois that is trying to move down to the southeast. Storms should die off as it moves into much drier air over central Indiana, but we will likely see a decent amount of cloud cover from that complex this morning.
Morning still looks pretty dry, with partly cloudy skies and pleasant temperatures. By the afternoon, a weak cold front pushing through will spark a few isolated showers and storms to central Indiana. There is a marginal risk that some of the storms could become severe, with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats. Storms should start to subside late tonight into the overnight.
Highs top out in the middle 80s this afternoon.
