The weekend has been dry thus far, but that will change for some of us as we head into the evening hours.
Isolated severe storms are possible this evening as a weak cold front dives into the region. Damaging winds and hail are possible, though flash flooding will also be an issue with how saturated the ground is. Stay weather aware!
We’ll dry out through the overnight with lows sinking into the mid 60s as you head out the door for the morning commute.
We’ll stay relatively cool for one more day before our next summer heat wave sweeps in, so make sure to enjoy the below average high temps.
With just a scattering of storms expected for most of the work week, temperatures will be able to soar with highs in the upper 80s through mid-week and highs in the 90s Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Stay cool!
Rain chances will rise a bit through the tail end of the forecast, unfortunately just in time for the Brickyard 400 weekend. It won’t be a washout, but you’ll want to keep the rain gear close by.
