Notice the thin cloud cover today – just enough to make for some filtered sunshine across much of central Indiana. That thin layer of cloud cover is attributed to Irma, as the remnants of the once powerful hurricane now work northward through the southeast.
Temperatures remain cool – not necessarily associated with Irma, but with the cooler northwest flow that has been around central Indiana for the past several days.
Expect clouds to continue to slowly build overnight. Temperatures should’t be quite as chilly overnight, as numbers fall to the middle to upper 50s.
