Dry evening, Irma remnants head our way Tuesday

The high clouds we saw today were from the “outflow” of now Tropical Storm Irma.  We will see rain chances and a bit higher wind Tuesday.

THIS EVENING: It will be a breezy and mainly cloudy evening for central Indiana.  Temps will fall from the 70s into the 60s.

OVERNIGHT:  Clouds will continue to build overnight, and SE Indiana will see some scattered rain by the morning.  Temps will not be as cold, with the clouds. Lows will drop into the mid 50s.

TUESDAY:  Rain, and to a smaller extent, wind will arrive from SE to NW during the day Tuesday, but the rain should be light in the Indy Metro area, with higher rainfall to the south.

8-DAY FORECAST: Rain from Irma will linger Wednesday, and even Thursday morning before dissolving and giving way to drier weather.  Summer heat will return for the weekend and raise highs to the mid to upper 80s.
