The remnants of Irma will continue to try to throw moisture in our direction, but the rain totals look light.
THIS EVENING: Scattered light rain showers will move from east to west across central Indiana. Take the umbrella with you this evening, but it will not be a washout for all. Temps will stay in the 60s.
OVERNIGHT: Scattered light rain showers will persist, but no real heavy rain is expected. Lows will drop into the lower 60s and upper 50s when you wake up Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY: I think more places will tap into the light rain showers Wednesday as the center of what is left of Irma will move into the state. Moisture will be limited, and rainfall totals will be light. Highs will only reach the upper 60s with mainly cloudy skies around and the rain showers.
8-DAY FORECAST: Rain chances from Irma will move out Thursday morning, and then drier, hotter air will move in behind the system as it fizzles out. By the weekend, highs will reach the mid to upper 80s, some of the warmest air we have seen in a bit!
