Active pattern setting up

Some much needed rain chances move into central Indiana starting later today.

Today:

Dry start to the morning.  Another unseasonably warm afternoon on tap.  Should be a dry morning for Colts tailgating, and only an outside chance for a shower/storm during the game this afternoon.

Futurecast shows spotty showers and storms developing by mid to late afternoon, with more coverage with storms by this evening, as a cold front swings into the state.

Highs top out in the middle to upper 80s.

Tonight:

Watch for scattered showers and storms from early evening through late evening.  Overnight, there will be a few showers around, but coverage should be more limited.

Lows dip to the middle 60s.

Monday:

Upper level disturbance will help to spark scattered showers and storms at any point Monday.  No severe weather is anticipated, but a few downpours will be possible.

Highs hit the lower 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

A couple more days of scattered storms for  Tuesday and Wednesday.  Drier air settles in for the second half of the work/school week, and should carry over into next weekend.  Highs will remain well average for the extended.
