Rain chances return, Sunday

Temperatures remain chilly this weekend as rain moves back into central Indiana Sunday.

Dry conditions today.  Temperatures should be a bit warmer than Friday, but still well below average for this time of year.  Highs top out in the lower to middle 40s this afternoon.

We’re tracking a boundary that will approach from the west later this evening.  Clouds will increase from west to east late tonight into the overnight.  Watch for some light rain to work into central Indiana before daybreak, Sunday.  Temperatures cold enough to support a few snowflakes for our far northern counties, but overall this should stay mainly as rain.

Lows dip to the lower to middle 30s.

Scattered rain chances continue off and on throughout the day.  Rainfall amounts will remain relatively light.

Highs top out in the middle 40s.

Dry conditions as we head back to work and school, and temperatures start to slowly climb into the upper 40s.

8 Day Forecast:

We return to the 50s by Tuesday.  Rain chances return to central Indiana on Wednesday.  Our highs max out in the mid 50s on Thursday.  Another storm system brings widespread rain to the area on Friday, with cooler temperatures returning this weekend.
