Good morning! Temperatures are starting off chilly, but not as cold as the previous two mornings – with numbers hovering in the lower to middle 30s across central Indiana.
We’re tracking a line of showers working in along a cold front – just now entering the western portions of central Indiana this morning.
This should be primarily a rain event, although there could be a few sleet pellets or snow flakes mixing in with some rain for our northwestern and northern counties through the mid morning hours.
Expect a wet day if you are heading to Lucas Oil Stadium this afternoon for the Steelers/Colts match up. Temperatures will also be running cool by around kickoff.
Steady showers will enter the Indy metro area by late morning through early afternoon, and exit the area by later this afternoon.
Rain totals should be relatively light, with highest amounts at around a quarter of an inch – most areas will see less.
Highs top out in the lower to middle 40s this afternoon.
