November to end on a soggy and mild note

The last November weekend for this year has gotten off to a great start. We’ve seen plenty of sunshine and well above average temps across the state.

If you plan on staying out late tonight, make sure you are bundled up because with clear skies, temps will sink quickly into the low 30s by midnight and into the mid 20s in some areas tomorrow morning.

We’ll continue the sunny streak into the first half of the work week, and with plenty of sunshine, high temps will remain above average with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Clouds will begin to build back in by mid-week, keeping highs a bit cooler by Wednesday. These clouds are just ahead of our next storm system which will bring in a chance for scattered showers Thursday.

On the back side of this storm system, temps will sink quickly. Any lingering showers will likely transition to a wintry mix of mostly rain with flurries mixed in. With warm ground temps, there will be no accumulation of any wintry precipitation. As we round out November and head into the last month of 2017, temps will drop back to below average or near normal values with highs in the 40s and plenty of sun next weekend.
