Cold and wintry now with a warm-up by next weekend

After a wintry start to the weekend, sunshine will return before you know it as well as a slight warm up.

Before temperatures warm, we’re going to see yet another frigid start to our Sunday morning with overnight lows plummeting into the upper teens before daybreak. Bundle up if you’re headed out tonight or early Sunday.

The rest of the day tomorrow looks nice with the exception of a few more clouds and flurries in far northern Indiana.

A slight warm-up will slide our way briefly Monday afternoon just ahead of our next storm system. Highs will briefly rise above average before our next arctic front sinks in, bringing a wintry mix of rain and snow to northern Indiana.

We’ll see additional snow chances, though minimal, through mid-week before drying out by the end of the week.

Skies will clear and winds will shift by week’s end allowing highs to rebound into the upper 30s by Friday and into the mid 40s next weekend with partly to mostly sunny skies!
