Half and half weekend

Milder temperatures return for Saturday, with rain moving into central Indiana on Sunday.Today:

Some thin cloud cover will greet you this morning, but shouldn’t hang around too long.  Expect a mostly sunny sky, and a big boost in temperatures this afternoon.  Highs top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s across central Indiana – a good 10°-15° above average for the middle of December.Tonight:

Some clouds building in, but overall quiet with cool, but not too chilly temperatures.  Overnight lows dip to the lower to middle 30s.Sunday:

Temperatures will be running cooler through the day – still above average, but a far cry from the 50s we will see today.

Storm complex slides into the Midwest, sparking rain showers to the area by early to mid afternoon.  Better chances for rain will be in this time period, but we’ll likely have some light drizzle around even during the evening and overnight hours across central Indiana.Monday:

Upper level disturbance responsible for the Sunday rain will likely keep a few lingering chances for drizzle/light rain around the area Monday morning, but should start to dry out as the day progresses.

Highs top out in the middle to upper 40s.8 Day Forecast:

A few quiet days through the middle of the week, with above normal temperatures.  Highs hit the middle to upper 40s through Thursday.  Next storm complex arrives late Thursday night into Friday, which could provide us a chance for a mixture of rain and snow.  Colder temperatures look to arrive with that system starting Friday and carrying over into Christmas weekend.
