Emmy-winning journalist Bennett Haeberle is an Indiana University graduate and joined WISH-TV’s I-Team 8 in January 2014. Prior to WISH-TV, he worked at WDRB in Louisville, KY where he served as both an anchor and reporter.
During his time there, Haeberle uncovered stories about questionable government expenses, and alleged abuse by local officials – some of whom apologized or resigned.
Before that, Haeberle worked at WTVQ in Lexington, KY as a reporter/photographer. While at WTVQ, he was part of a news team that earned a National Edward R. Murrow award for its coverage of a commercial jet crash.
Haeberle’s journalism background also includes assignment management. His work has been honored with numerous awards from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists and Emmys.
The Louisville, KY native is excited to live in Indiana where he has close friends and family. Haeberle and his wife are happy to call Indianapolis home. He’s always looking for story ideas, so feel free to contact him with the form below or through social media.
