A proud Hoosier native, Brenna Donnelly joined the 24-Hour News 8 in July of 2017 and she is thrilled be a part of the WISH-TV team she grew up watching.
Her broadcast career started in the library media rooms of Fishers High School, producing and anchoring the morning announcements and slapstick news show “Tenderloin Tuesday.” From there, she accepted a talent scholarship at Brigham Young University and graduated as the lead reporter in the SPJ All-Around Best Newscast in the country.
Brenna interned at KPHO in Phoenix, Fox News Channel in New York City, and KUTV in Salt Lake City. She landed her first job as an undergraduate, reporting on campus news for cable channel BYU-TV.
Brenna was most recently a morning anchor for KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she also produced and anchored the noon news.
Her husband, Andrew, is also excited to be in the Hoosier state, working as an anesthesiology resident. Together, Brenna and Andrew have a Siamese cat named Piper. When they’re not at work, you’ll find them rock climbing, hiking, eating ethnic food and finally spending the holidays with family.
