Emmy-nominated and award-winning reporter Dustin Grove joined WISH-TV’s 24-Hour News-8 in October 2012.
Dustin began his career down the street as a reporter at WIBC Radio and the Network Indiana News Service. He also spent nearly nine years as an anchor and reporter at WSBT-TV in South Bend.
His award-winning reporting has taken him around the country and the world.
In 2005, he reported from Southeast Asia while covering the efforts of local relief workers in the aftermath of devastating tsunamis.
A year later, he was honored by the Associated Press after traveling to Camp Pendleton in Southern California. While there, he went alongside local Marines as they trained to return for another tour of duty for the war in Iraq.
In 2008, he won a first place award from the AP for his investigative report “Violent Crime: Everyone pays,” a series that showed viewers how much money violent crime costs taxpayers.
Dustin has twice been honored as Indiana’s Best Reporter by the Associated Press and, in 2010 and 2013 was nominated for an Emmy award for his reporting.
Dustin grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Ball State University’s College of Communication, Information, and Media.
He and his wife are the proud parents of a son and two daughters who keep them very busy at home.
