Eric joined 24-Hour News 8 in May of 2017 and is excited to make Indianapolis his new home. He was born and raised in New York City but has called the Midwest home for several years now.
He comes from Springfield, Illinois, where he served as a reporter at WICS for two years. He primarily focused on city politics. He also spent time reporting at KVRR in Fargo, North Dakota. Eric went to Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, where he was an anchor for the award-winning Northwestern News Report.
He has gained experience interning at CNN, the Huffington Post, Money Magazine and eNCA in Johannesburg, South Africa. His time in South Africa led to getting grant money to do a documentary about a skier vying for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
He’s excited to get to know the Circle City, even though he is a big New York Jets fan. When he’s not working, he likes to travel and try new restaurants. Feel free to reach out to him on Facebook or Twitter with any comments or story ideas!
