Julian Grace is a crime beat reporter for WISH-TV.
He is thrilled to be back in the greatest city in the world. Julian is no stranger to Indy. He was born and raised near Fountain Square. He’s a proud graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, and Ball State University.
He joined the station in 2011 from KMOV-TV, a CBS affiliate in St. Louis, where his work as a reporter won Emmy and Edward. R. Murrow Award, and multiple nominations.
Julian is also a RTNDA N.S. Bienstock fellowship winner. The award is given each year to a promising journalist in television news. Additionally, Julian works to alert viewers to criminal activities hurting Hoosiers here in Central Indiana.
Recently he broke a story on a debit card scam that left customers and stores out of thousands of dollars. Julian’s report gave viewers concrete solutions on how to protect themselves from becoming a victim.
Julian also worked at WLNS in Lansing, MI where he worked as a reporter, and fill-in anchor. During his previous stops Julian covered several high profile stories, including President Barack Obama on the campaign trail, a mass shooting at Kirkwood City Hall, and powerful floods that swept through St. Louis.
In 2013, Julian received training from National Press Photographers Association, a leading advocate in visual storytelling. This training has equipped Julian to showcase the creativity each story possesses.
On his off days, Julian enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to Berean Bible Church, and reading a good book.
