Lori Wilson is an Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter who is back home again in Indiana after working in four other television markets. She joined WISH-TV in June of 2013 and anchors the 6 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.
Prior to joining WISH-TV, Lori spent seven years at WCAU in Philadelphia, where she held a number of positions including morning news anchor, general assignment reporter, and host of
the 10! Show, a daily lifestyle and entertainment show. While at WCAU, Lori reported live from the second inauguration of President Barack Obama, anchored coverage of Hurricane Sandy, and field anchored everything from station coverage of NBC’s Education Nation, to the Phillies season home opener.

In her role as co-host of the 10! Show, Lori interviewed countless celebrities including Will Smith, Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gerard Butler, Kevin Hart, Kerry Washington and more. She also reported live from Rome, Italy for the Premiere of Angels and Demons and covered Harry Potter from London, England. Lori also served as host of the annual Mummer’s Parade and the local MDA Telethon.
Before WCAU, Lori spent three years at WGCL in Atlanta. During her time with WGCL, Lori anchored the morning and noon news, and was the entertainment reporter. She also hosted the annual UNCF Telethon which was part of the Mayor’s Masked Ball.
Her first anchor job was with KSLA in Shreveport, Louisiana. She spent four years there as anchor for the morning and noon news, and she contributed health reports for the 5 p.m. news. Lori participated in local response coverage on 9/11, including anchoring the coverage done at Barksdale Air Force base, where President George W. Bush flew to address the country after receiving news of the attacks.
Lori’s first reporting job was with WCIA in Champaign, Illinois. There she covered everything from politics, pollution and crime, to the Broomcorn Festival and lawnmower races.
In every city she has worked, Lori has been passionate about giving back to the community. She has been a staunch supporter of the United Way’s Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow program, the Uniquely You Summit, the Associated Services for the Blind, and the Urban League of Philadelphia. Lori currently volunteers with Girls Inc., and The Center for Leadership Development. She is on the board of “IDEA” Center for Performing Arts in Camden, New Jersey, and The Christamore House in Indianapolis.
Lori was named a Top “40 under 40” by the Philadelphia Business Journal, she was honored with a Paradigm Award from the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the NCBW, she received “Delta’s Five Points of Service Award” from the Valley Forge Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, she was named one of the 2013 Most Influential Black Women by the Philadelphia NAACP, and in 2015 she was inducted into the North Central High School Hall of Fame. Lori is a member of NABJ, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., The Indianapolis Chapter of the Links, Inc., and twice a week, you’ll find her in church.
