Stephanie Mead

Stephanie Mead joined the Storm Track 8 team in April of 2017.

She comes to WISH-TV from WGBA in Green Bay, Wisconsin. There, Stephanie forecast sub-zero temperatures for the Green Bay Packers often on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field (she’s looking forward to it being a little warmer here).

She also covered numerous severe weather events in Northeast Wisconsin, including a blizzard as well as a dangerous thunderstorm, that delayed the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.

Stephanie is a native Chicago and a graduate of Northern Illinois University. She began her career in meteorology forecasting weekend weather for KMVT and KSVT in Twin Falls, Idaho.

When it comes to the challenge of forecasting the ever-changing weather of Central Indiana, Stephanie is ready to face it head on. She’s looking forward to making Indianapolis home and exploring all the community has to offer.
