Ball State building evacuated due to ‘major’ water leak

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — The Robert Bell Building at Ball State is being evacuated due to a water leak.

Ball State officials described the leak as “major.”

Campus officials are asking people to stay clear of the area.

The building is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day with classes resuming tomorrow.

The Robert Bell building is near the intersection of Petty Road and McKinley Avenue.

It houses the departments of English, Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences.
