WISH-TV wins 5 AP awards for outstanding work in Indiana journalism
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV’s 24-Hour News 8 was honored Saturday by the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association.
The organization held their annual awards banquet at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel. WISH-TV’s Tim McNicholas was the emcee.
The awards recognize the most outstanding work in broadcast journalism during 2016.
WISH-TV accepted five awards, including first place for Sports Reporting, General News and Continuous Coverage of a Single Event.
