Rain causes numerous slide-offs on I-70 in Hendricks Co.
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Hendricks County said Monday morning that rain led to a number of slide-offs on Interstate 70 in their county.
According to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, the slide-offs happened near the 63 mile marker of I-70, in both the eastbound and westbound lanes.
Police said shortly before 6 a.m. that at least three slide-offs had been reported. Officials say the vehicles hydroplaned before they crashed.
Officials say no injuries were reported. Traffic was flowing again by the 7 a.m. hour.
