Carroll Co. teen airlifted after crashing car into ravine
CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Carroll County teen has been airlifted to a hospital after crashing his car into a ravine.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the teen was headed east on County Road 300 North over a one-lane bridge. Investigators said for an unknown reason his vehicle left the roadway.
When first responders arrived, the car was on its side and pinned against a tree. Delphi Fire Department had to extricate the juvenile.
The driver was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital with broken bones. Authorities on the scene said he was conscious and speaking.
