Woman arrested for prostitution after soliciting Carroll Co. deputy
CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Carroll County authorities made a prostitution arrest over the weekend, after they said a woman unknowingly solicited a deputy on Facebook.
Courtney Miller, 32, of Howard County faces a misdemeanor charge of prostitution.
Investigators said Miller wrote to the deputy on Facebook, offering sexual acts for a fee. She did not know he worked for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputy then went to detectives and the county prosecutor to arrange a bust.
Miller met with the deputy in Burlington on Friday, where she was arrested. She has since been released on a $3,000 bond.
