Fishers may be home to new brewery

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — Fishers is looking to expand the Nickleplate District with another new development. This one would be located on Lantern Road just north of 116th Street.

The project must first be approved by the city council. They’re expected to meet before the months end. If approved, construction would begin this fall.

The new project would be a 16,000 square feet, two-story building. Plans right now call for office space on the second floor. The first floor would be reserved for Four Day Ray Brewing, a craft brewery and restaurant.

Construction is already underway on Lantern just to the south. The road is currently blocked as crews finish The Edge, which is a three-story building that will house mainly medical offices. A parking garage is also under construction right next to it.

Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness said there is demand for office space of this kind.
