Eckrich and NASCAR Star Aric Almirola Give Military Family a New Car at Indy

A military family was in for quite the surprise over the weekend, as Eckrich and NASCAR Driver Aric Almirola surprised them with a brand new, custom-made Ford Fusion and FREE groceries for one year at Kroger! It all happened Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Army Veteran Luther Martin served 17 years as an Ammunitions Specialist in the Army, and completed four tours in Iraq. Martin was medically discharged in 2011. His wife Stephani has joined the Hearts of Valor program and is now his full time caregiver.

The surprise was part of Eckrich’s 4-year partnership with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service member and wounded warriors. Eckrich Brand Manager Jeff Dennison sat down with Amber this morning to talk about this incredible gift and even more incredible military family.
