Colts extend offers to Freeman, Herron

NFL free agency officially begins next Tuesday, and with quite a bit of money to spend, expect the Colts to make a splash.

Restricted free agent Jerrell Freeman has been tendered a qualifying offer at the second-round level.  The Colts can match any offer he receives from a team or they’d receive a second-round draft pick from any team that signs him.

The Colts have also extended a qualifying offer to Boom Herron, so it seems like he will be back next season. The running back got quite a bit of playing time late last season, finishing with over 350 yds and a touchdown.
