Community Hospital North reopens operating rooms after air quality tests

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Community Hospital North has reopened several operating rooms following an air quality tests.

Six operating rooms were closed last week due to discoloration on ceiling and walls.

“Independent air quality testing was recently completed in some areas of the surgical department at Community Hospital North,” the hospital said in a statement Friday afternoon. “The results of the testing confirmed the area is safe.”

The hospital said the discoloration was contained to the operating room corridor.
