State Police: Man injured in hit and run on I-69 near Auburn
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana State Police is currently investigating a hit and run in which a person was struck by a vehicle.
According to police, the hit and run took place on the southbound side of Interstate 69 in DeKalb County shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.
The man hit by the vehicle was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle left before police arrived, and investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle.
