Indianapolis council approves $20M for justice center design
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The city is a step closer to building a new justice center.
The City-County Council on Monday night voted to approve $20 million for the facility’s design. It is estimated the final price will be $500 million.
Mayor Joe Hogsett praised the move and called the council forward-thinking. He said the move will save the city significant tax dollars by addressing the root causes of crime.
