Construction begins on Noblesville distribution center
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The Opus Group in Indianapolis has started construction on a last-mile distribution center in Noblesville. The company says the 157,500-square-foot building, which is located in the Saxony Corporate Campus, will bring much needed distribution space to the community.
In July, CentraSep Technologies announced its plans to lease 44,000 square feet of the development.
“Noblesville has a growing and diverse business community that will benefit from the distribution space this project offers,” said Doug Swain, vice president and general manager at The Opus Gr. “In recent years, we’ve seen a consistent need for distribution and last-mile facilities, largely due to growth in e-commerce, and we’re eager to deliver this space to the marketplace. We’re providing CentraSep Technologies with a space that both fits their needs and allows their expanding business to continue to thrive in the Noblesville community.
Opus says the 12-acre site will offer CentraSep and future tenants convenient access to nearby suburban areas as well as major transportation routes including Interstate 69 and 146th Street.
Construction is scheduled to be complete in spring 2021.
