Police: Woman stabbed in the head after fight over place in McDonald’s drive-thru
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WATN) – A Memphis woman is charged after police say a fight over a place in a McDonald’s drive-thru line led to a stabbing.
It happened Monday at the McDonald’s in the 900 block of Union Avenue. The victim told police she and another woman, identified as Asalene Branch, got into a fight over their place in the line of the drive-thru.
Police say at some point, Branch stabbed the other woman in the head.
Police say the victim’s injuries were non-critical.
Police say Branch admitted to stabbing the woman to a knife during questioning.
Branch is charged with aggravated assault and out of jail on $5,000 bond.
