INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Lucas Oil Stadium will be transformed for a weekend of smashes, crashes, and maybe even a back-flip or two.

Monster Jam will take to the track at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.

The Colts’ home has been converted into a dirt track for monster trucks, complete with hills for sky-high jumps and racing.

There’s also a pit party before the show where families can get a hands-on experience.

It includes the man behind the wheel of the Maximum Destruction known for its back flips and pyrotechnics and making it a fan favorite

“Very fan friendly and very accessible to everyone. You get up close with the drivers,” said driver of Maximum Destruction Tom Meents. “Cooler yet, Monster Jam trucks are huge. They make a lot of noise, they fly very high. I mean it is a show!”

Saturday’s pre-show pit party is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The trucks take over at 7 p.m.

The Monster Jam World Finals are at the end of March in Las Vegas. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
