Victims in east side shooting identified


INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two victims involved in an overnight shooting that left one man dead and another injured have been identified.

Around 1:16 a.m. Wednesday, officers arrived to the scene in the 2800 block of North Gladstone Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found Ronald Howard, 29, dead inside a vehicle at the home.  Police say he had been shot.

On the porch of a home nearby the crime scene, officers found Jermaine Sisk, 31, who had been shot multiple times, but was still alive. Both men are from Indianapolis.

No word yet on any suspects. Detectives do not believe this incident is a random act.

Officers say they found suspected drug evidence at the scene.
