Police: Man with shotgun robbed West Lafayette store

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – West Lafayette police said a man armed with a shotgun robbed the Village Bottle Shoppe on Howard Avenue Tuesday evening.

Around 11:30 p.m., employees said an older male came in and pointed a shotgun at them and demanded money. He took off with cash, cigarettes and a bottle of tequila before exiting.

The robber was covered from head to toe, but he was described as being around 5-feet-6-inches tall.
