INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s been dubbed one of the most infamous moments in college sports history.

Thirty years ago, Bobby Knight lost control court-side and chucked a chair clear across the floor.

It was Feb. 23, 1985. Indiana University’s men’s basketball team was facing off against rival Purdue University when referees made a call against the Hoosiers.

Coach Knight was almost immediately on his feet and in the ref’s face. Shortly after, “the” moment happened and Assembly Hall erupted.
