Columbus native dies after shooting
CINCINNATI,Ohio (WISH) – One woman is dead two weeks after being shot multiple times.
Brittany Coop, 30, formerly of Columbus, died shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday at University Hospital in Cincinnati after being shot in her home in a Cincinnati neighborhood.
Coop was shot three times on Feb. 11 and sustained injuries to abdomen, arm, and right lung.
Coop’s former boyfriend, Antonio Colson, 36, was arrested the day before Coop died on charges of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The case is now being investigated by the Cincinnati homicide department.
