UPDATE: No weapons found in Feb. 25 shooting

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The investigation continues into a police action shooting on February 25, with new information being released.

Indiana State Police say the Indiana State Police Crime Scene Investigator and detectives did not find a visible weapon in Alexander Long’s car.

No other weapon was found in the car either, according to WISH-TV sister station WTHI News.

Reports state that officials did find two rounds of ammunition, construction type tools and drug paraphernalia.

The name of the Terre Haute police officer involved in the shooting is expected to be released once the official report is turned in to the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Indiana State Police detectives continue to interview witnesses.

The investigation is expected to take two more weeks, according to police.
