Police: Anderson man arrested for child molestation in Wabash Co.

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – According to police, an Anderson man is in jail after an investigation revealed the man had molested a young girl.

Wabash County Police received information from the Wabash County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services that a six-year-old girl had possibly been molested.

Reports state that the sex acts occurred on multiple occasions during the fall of 2010.

Joseph Young, 56, of Anderson, was arrested in connection with the criminal investigation into the molestation.

Young is incarcerated at the Wabash County Jail with a $50,000 surety bond, plus $250.00, and faces possible charges of two felony counts of child molestation.
