Senators make friendly wager on girls basketball

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two state senators are betting on their district to win the State Girls Basketball Championship.

In the battle for the state title, Tippecanoe Valley High School, from Senator Randy Head’s district competes against Princeton High School, in Senator Mark Messmer’s district.

Head wagered steaks from Rochester Meats and Deli in Rochester, against Messmer’s wager of steaks from Fischer Farms Natural Beef in Jasper.

The game will be held Saturday, March 7, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
