Suspects caught in the act of robbery twice, arrested

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – The Franklin Police Department arrested two men on preliminary burglary charges on Thursday.

Zachary Leveranz, 18, Bargersville and Mark Nally, 18, Franklin were arrested Thursday after police responded to a call that two males had attempted to enter a neighbor’s residence.

The resident confronted the two males, so they fled the scene in a Jeep. The resident obtained the license plate information and gave it to police.

Police responded to a second burglary attempt a block away as they were investigating the first attempted burglary.

There were two males that matched the description of the first burglary and a Jeep with the same license plate number parked in front of the second home.

The homeowner said he interrupted the two men when he returned home and they fled to a Jeep.

Leveranz and Nally were apprehended and are in custody at the Johnson County Jail.
