CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) — Crawfordsville authorities confirm the identity of the person killed Friday in a Crawfordsville fire.

An autopsy Monday confirmed the identity of the person killed in Friday’s fire at 302 Knoll Circle in Crawfordsville as 63-year-old Bradley Walden, a resident of the apartment complex. The autopsy was performed at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Officials have ruled the preliminary cause of death as an apparent heart attack, suffered during the fire.

Walden’s body was found by firefighters during the incident which destroyed an eight-unit apartment complex early Friday evening.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
